LocalPulse collects location data to deliver city-wise news, alerts, and real-time updates relevant to your area. This is essential for the core functionality of the app. This data is never sold to third parties.

We use your information to personalize content, send relevant notifications, improve the app, and for security purposes.
Account Deletion
You have the right to permanently delete your account and associated data. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Navigate to Your Profile: Log in and go to your profile page by clicking theProfile icon in the navigation bar.
- Find the Settings Card: On your profile page, scroll to find the card titled "Settings".Look for the Settings section on your profile.
- Click "Delete Account": Inside the Settings card, under the "Danger Zone" heading, you will find a red button labeled "Delete Account". Click this button to begin the process.
- Confirm Deletion: A confirmation dialog will appear explaining that this action is permanent. This is your final chance to cancel. To finalize the deletion, you must click the final confirmation button in the dialog.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Your user profile, including your name, email, and profile picture, will be permanently deleted from our database.
- All of your likes, comments, and follower relationships (both followers and following) will be removed.
- All of your chat conversations and messages will be deleted.
- Your posts will **not** be deleted. Instead, they will become "anonymous" and will no longer be linked to your account.
