Local Pulse is a product of Mano Nirman Innovations Private Limited ("Mano Nirman Innovations Pvt Ltd", "we", "our", or "us"), a company incorporated in India with its office in Hyderabad, Telangana. Mano Nirman Innovations Pvt Ltd owns and operates Local Pulse and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use the Local Pulse mobile apps for iOS and Android and the website at localpulse.in (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and the identifier provided by the sign-in method you choose (email, Google, or Sign in with Apple). If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive only Apple's relay address.
1.2 Google Business Profile data
If you connect a Google Business Profile, you authorize us through Google OAuth to access the locations you manage, including business details, reviews, ratings, review replies, and posts. We never see or store your Google password, and you can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
1.3 Content you create
We store the review replies, posts, keywords, competitor lists, brand-voice settings, and other content you create or approve in the app.
1.4 Usage and device information
We collect basic technical data such as device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and the features you use. If you allow notifications, we store a push-notification token for your device.
1.5 Messages to us
When you contact us, we keep the details you share, such as your name, email, and message.
1.6 Billing information
When you buy a plan or credits, our payment partner Razorpay collects your payment details. We receive only the payment status, amount, transaction and subscription IDs, and limited details such as the payment method type. We keep invoices and billing records as the law requires.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: sync your reviews, draft AI replies, publish replies and posts you approve, track local rankings, and generate reports.
- To send notifications you have enabled, such as new-review and ranking alerts.
- To maintain and improve the Service, fix bugs, and measure performance, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
- To respond to support requests and send important service messages, such as security or policy updates.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our users and the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your reviews or replies to train shared AI models that serve other customers.
3. AI Processing
To draft replies, posts, and insights, relevant text (for example a review and your brand-voice settings) is sent to our AI service providers for processing. These providers act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and may not use your data for their own purposes. AI output is a suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing it before publishing unless you turn on auto-send.
4. How We Share Information
- Service providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting and database providers, AI model providers, push-notification services, analytics, and email delivery. They process data only on our behalf.
- Google, when you ask us to publish replies or posts to your Business Profile. Content you publish there is public and governed by Google's policies.
- Razorpay, our payment partner, to process subscription and credit payments.
- Apple and Google app stores for app distribution.
- Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Mano Nirman Innovations Pvt Ltd.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Google API Services
Local Pulse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Business Profile data only to provide the features you see in the app.
6. Storage, Security, and Retention
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure and may be processed in India and in other countries where our providers operate. We protect it with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days. Encrypted backups may hold copies for up to 90 days before they are permanently deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and export: request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Correction: update your profile in the app or ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: delete your account from the app's profile settings, or email us to request deletion.
- Revoke Google access: disconnect your Business Profile in the app or from your Google Account.
- Notifications: turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings.
- Objection and restriction: in some cases, ask us to stop or limit how we process your data.

8. Children's Privacy
Local Pulse is a business tool intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the date above. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, the updated policy applies.
